Lincoln City Fellowship

The Lincoln City Fellowship is a one-year, non-residential grant program established to provide financial support along with guidance and community to individual artists so that they can achieve their goals.

In addition to receiving grant money, Fellows are exposed to the following opportunities to enhance their artistic capacity, broaden their influence, and nurture their creative life:

  • Invitations to curated east and west coast gatherings to connect with artistic allies

  • Audience curation and promotional support

  • Collaborations with partner organizations and community members

  • Facilitated workshops and retreats

  • Individual coaching and strategic guidance

Fellows are a diverse group of writers, narrative filmmakers, musicians, photographers, visual artists, dancers, and theatre folks who are demonstrating artistic drive and excellence while at a critical juncture in their vocation. They are working towards a specific creative objective, and eager to participate in a supportive community of other artists.

Since its inception in 2008, over $1 million in artist grants have been awarded. Lincoln City Fellows have made award winning albums, published books, created new theatre works, and produced acclaimed global photography and visual art.  See completed work here.

Application is by invitation only.  If you would like to introduce yourself, please send an email to info@speranzafoundation.com with a brief description of your work and how you learned about the Lincoln City Fellowship.
