Returning to The Smith Center by popular demand, acclaimed singer-songwriter and Lincoln City Fellow Lucy Woodward is a rapidly rising star in the music industry. Touring internationally following her Top 40 hit “Dumb Girls,” Woodward has also toured and recorded with leading artists such as Rod Stewart, Celine Dion, Joe Cocker, Chaka Khan and Nikka Costa. Her songs and vocals have been featured in hit films such as “What a Girl Wants,” “The Blind Side,” “Music and Lyrics” and Disney’s “Ice Princess.” Woodward has also toured with renowned group Pink Martini and collaborated with three-time Grammy-winning jazz and funk collective Snarky Puppy.
Receiving widespread acclaim for her four albums, Woodward promises an evening showcasing her sultry, soulful vocals performing a range of jazz, blues and pop, including beloved standards and fresh originals.
