Iganacio Perez Meruane | visual artist

The copper mining industry has played an important role in shaping Chile’s society and economy, and makes up over fifty percent of the country’s exports.

Ignacio is developing an art exhibition that uses copper in its industrial form as well as a sculptural material. By combining industrial forms of copper with cast and hand formed sculptures, the exhibition will address the interconnectedness of both culture and the global economy.

Exhibiting in Santiago, Chile at Galeria Tajamar – May 2015
